About

Roy W. Reabe was a military transport pilot that would fly over the Himalayan Mountains during WWII. When he returned, he founded Reabe Flying Service in 1945 that trained pilots and provided spaying services. Roy’s sons later founded Reabe Spraying Service, founded in 1979, which is still successfully operating with the third generation.

In 1991, Roy’s son Jeff, founded Reabe Aircraft Improvement, as a side project, to develop modifications for the operating company’s aircraft fleet. Jeff obtained STC’s for these modifications such as the Clear View Canopy and fixed elevator on Bell 47 and sold the STC’s.

In 2010 Reabe Aircraft Improvement partnered with Jeff’s son, Troy Reabe, owner of ReabeAir.com and Reabe Design LLC (a design and manufacturing firm). Jeff and Troy worked on the STC certifications and PMA. They used Reabe Spraying Service aircraft fleet as a test bed. Troy’s companies invented and developed the products, the circuit boards, tested and sourced all components, and wrote all the software. The products that resulted include the patented Reabe Hopper Quantity Gauge (STC), patented Reabe Smart Gates (STC), and the Reabe Hopper Packer (STC pending). Reabe Design’s products can now be found throughout the national and international Ag markets.

It’s been our goal to serve the Ag industry with products that are safe for the pilot, simple and reliable for the mechanic, and long-lasting for the operator.  As innovators, Reabe Design LLC use the most up-to-date technology for the best results. We extend our sincere gratitude to our customers who have given us the opportunity to serve them, allowing us to design the next generation of products.
