Description From Damon I will focus on something I am not 100% sure on yet. It seems the gate may be moving a little too much to compensate for speed. I am basing this on noticing that when I am in large fields going faster than the target airspeed for most of the load that I run out prior to reaching zero on the quantity gauge and when I am in smaller fields when going slower, I have extra product when the gauge reaches 2. Tomorrow I will try to replicate this multiple times to confirm or deny this observation and get back to you with two things. One, is this the case and two, how many pounds off at the end of the load is it. From Troy Dry Qty flow adjustment, possible second variable to adjust flow curve (is the gate adjusting too much for the speed change?) another variable is that the air assist is assumed constant, this might require a higher power exponential function for product flow due to the added change of the air assists. Changing of the ground speed from 145 to 165 accounts for around a 10 to 15% Error. Attempt to change exponential value to 1.86 From Damon Set your speed.. It was noticed that changing his target speed by as little as 3 MPH had the effect of correcting this error that he was seeing. So rather than setting in 150 MPH, changing to 147 MPH fixed it so the L shaped field would work out great doing the long or short on the upwind. |
